My notations to help you play the songs:

-5        Draw hole 5
 5         Blow hole 5

|   (pipe)      Measure bar

R             1/4 rest
RR          1/2 rest
RRR        3/4 rest
RRRR     Rest one measure
r              1/8 rest

"."       Very short time period (about the amount of time between when the light turns green and the guy behind you "beeps")

|         |      Rest one measure

456   Play holes 4, 5 and 6 together  (also noted:  (456)  )

4S5   Play blow 4 and quickly slide to hole 5 blow.

-45     Play draw 4 and then immediately play blow 5  (Typically this will be done for one beat combined)

-3b          bend one semitone  (on a "C" harp, you'll get a Bb note))
-3bb       bend two semitones  ( on a "C" harp, you'll get an "A" note)
-3bbb     bend three semitones (drop that jaw all the way down and draw from your inner self! and on a "C" harp, you'll get Ab note)

See the "C" diatonic harp layout pattern here

If you see two rows of tabs such as:

simply play EITHER row - your choice.  Sometimes the song has several tabbed versions and you might find one to be more favorable or easier to play for you.
Also - some harpers have difficulty hitting notes in the highest octave and some harpers have difficulty hitting notes in the lowest octave.
