(or equivalent) |

Large onion, cleaned
and chopped |

Aluminum foil |

Pam spray (or
equivalent) |

Salt and pepper to
taste. |

Garlic powder to
taste |

Pam spray a large pan or
cooking container that will fit in your Barbeque grill. |
|
|
|
Slice potatoes into 1/8"
to 1/4" thick slices. You may want to half or quarter slice larger
potatoes first. |

|
Layer potato slices into
pan and add a thin layer of chopped onion. Cut butter stick into pats
and dot layer with butter pats. |

|
Add salt, pepper and
garlic and proceed with making another layer until pan is nearly to the top. |

|
Add water to pan to create
steam. |

|
|
Cover pan opening
completely with aluminum foil and place in Barbeque for approx 1 1/2 hours
at medium heat. You can also use the oven. Check for doneness
after about an hour. |

You may want to use a
spatula to turn potatoes if they get crispy in the pan. |
