Amazing Grace

(Song Key of G)  (Straight harp using a "G" key harp)
Sometimes you'll see it in "F" key.

6 7 8 7 8 -8 7 -6 6 6 7 8 7 8 -8 9
Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.

8 9 8 9 8 7 6-6 7 -6 6 -6 7 8 7 8 -8 7
I once was lost but now am found, was blind but now I see.

T'was grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed.

Thro' many dangers, toils, and snares, I have already come
'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home

When we've been there ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun
We've no less days to sing God's praise than when we first begun.

Now try it in "cross" harp... for a "smoother sound"
Here, you are still using a "C" harp - but still playing the song key of "G".
You are accenting more "draw" holes and playing in a lower octave.

 D G B G B A G E (Etc. - notes on "C" harp)
-4 6 -7 -6 6 -7 -6 6 5 -4 -4 6 -7-6 6 -7 -6 -7 -8
Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me

-7 -8 -7 -8 -7 6 -4 5 6 6 5 -4 -4 6 -7 -6 6 -7 -6 6
I once was lost but now am found, was blind but now I see

Extra notes are easily added to the above.
Continue and feel the extra "flavor" cross harp provides by accenting
the "draw" notes...
